December 4–7, 2026
Your path in birth work starts here. Whether you are stepping in for a loved one, launching a new career, or growing an active practice, DoulaBrella has a pathway tailored to your goals. Every journey begins with our core 3-day foundational workshop, giving you the comprehensive training and skills needed to step confidently into your role.

Our Mission
A connected ecosystem designed to transform how families experience birth, postpartum, and early parenthood. With families at the center, DoulaBrella provides a dedicated space for every doula to learn, practice, and thrive.
As a heart-centered training hub, we equip aspiring and seasoned doulas with the skills, confidence, and community needed to make a lasting impact. Grounded in over 25 years of combined experience across doula care, advocacy, and education, our refined approach lets you skip the learning curve and step directly into a supportive community from day one.

A Pathway for Every Goal
DoulaBrella is open to all, from partners wanting to support a birth, to individuals launching a new career, to experienced doulas refining their skill set.
All pathways start with our signature 3-day in-person workshop, offering an immersive, evidence-based learning environment. From there, your unique pathway guides your growth.
Ongoing Support & Mentorship
Every doula deserves a support system that extends far beyond initial training. We offer complimentary access to bi-monthly support meetings and a structured mentorship program designed to bridge the gap between education and real-world practice at every stage of your career. Through our family-matching service, we directly connect our trained doulas with clients, fostering a thriving network where you can build a sustainable business while expanding access to high-quality, compassionate care.
Doula work is deeply transformative, not only for the families served, but for the doula themselves. By grounding our practice in empathy, understanding, and love, our collective work creates a powerful ripple effect of positive change that transforms individuals, families, and whole communities.

Doula Voices
"The doula community is necessary. AI can give you information but cannot replace the reassurance and real-world wisdom of someone you trust who has walked this path before and with you. That kind of support is priceless."
Carrie

Doula Voice"My Birth Doula training was experiential, resourceful, deeply personal, and empowering. I left feeling accomplished with new skills and also inspired, equipped, and touched. I even gained skills to become a better mother, person, and kinder to myself."
Jolly
North Tonawanda, NY
Doula Voice"Gina welcomed us into her home and made it feel like our own. The trainers create a space with zero judgment and zero negativity, and no question is ever a bad one. You genuinely feel seen. That kind of comfort makes room for real growth. I walked away from training refreshed, rejuvenated, and hungry to keep learning."

Doula Voice"It has been a great pleasure and transformational experience to become part of this organization. I found an incredibly supportive community of people who were inclusive advocates, always willing to lend a hand or an ear to help make birth and postpartum better for the families we serve. I have experienced tremendous professional growth through working with Gina, with her kind encouraging voice pushing me to bring the best out of myself."

Doula Voice"I am eternally grateful that I chose these training sessions. I gained so much practical knowledge in combination with valuable hands-on practice that allowed me to strengthen my skills. We were able to have comprehensive conversations that went far beyond the basic facts, and act out scenarios to familiarize ourselves with the sensitive nature required when providing support in such an important time of someone's life. I also really appreciated the different backgrounds of people in the training. We learned so much from each other in addition to all of our wonderful instructors."

Doula Voice"The DoulaBrella training is a beautiful experience. I walked in ready to learn, and walked out inspired to serve my community in the role of a doula. Gina is a knowledgeable and compassionate teacher who makes doula work an accessible vocation. The community fostered by DoulaBrella is empathetic and supportive, and I gained both insight and meaningful friendship from the birth and postpartum workshops."
Anna

Doula Voice"I have found continued support and community within the collective as I provided support for families over the past few years. I have often gotten to work in collaboration with other doulas within the collective as we provide backup support for each other due to the unpredictability our work brings. I have also provided daytime support to a family while another doula provides overnight support. I really enjoy this part of working within the collective because we are constantly sharing new ideas and resources with each other to continue our learning."
Ellen

Doula Voice"When I took the Birth Doula Training, it felt completely different than the training I had previously taken. Gina leads with her heart and customizes each training to the group. I am reminded of this each time I sit in on a refresher or supplemental training."
Kirsten
Holland, NY
Doula Voice"When you are at a workshop, Gina does everything imaginable to ensure you feel comfortable and safe, while in a training that can at times be triggering or difficult for some. You truly feel safe to be vulnerable and share relevant experiences while also learning everything you need to be a successful birth and postpartum doula."

Doula Voice"Each client that I've contracted with through DoulaBrella has been matched to me with care, and that has enabled me to make meaningful impacts on all of the families that I've worked with. During each contract and beyond, I know I can always call the team for a check-in about any difficult, challenging, or new situations on the job."
Fortune

Doula Voice"All of the doulas that I've met through training and networking events have been the most authentically caring individuals, and I feel confident in saying to any potential client that I know whomever they choose will help them feel supported and empowered during birth or postpartum. I say that confidently knowing they have received the same comprehensive training and continued support that I have received throughout my years working with Gina and DoulaBrella."
Maria
North Buffalo, NY
Doula Voice"The doula support meetings have been invaluable to me as I get started. Meeting with peers and mentors regularly is a great encouragement, and allows me to brainstorm through problems as they arise. Through these opportunities, I have learned a lot about the doula practice, but I have also learned about myself, and the kind of person I want to be in order to show up for my community. I am so grateful!"
